# Copying guidelines

|
Packages retain their respective upstream licenses. Axolotl's desktop packages are GPL-3.0-only and include package-level copying notices.
|
|
|
|
Modrinth trademarks, logos, cover images, and other restricted branding are not part of the Axolotl Launcher brand and must not be reintroduced by upstream synchronization.
|
|
|
|
Axolotl Launcher, its independent brand assets, and Garbage Human Studio attribution are maintained separately from the upstream project.
|
|
|
|
The desktop launcher's Chinese content search includes an unmodified `WikiEntries.txt` snapshot from Plain Craft Launcher commit `fd7b722346523d9574678a8a4a02928d31cd1e0c`. Plain Craft Launcher is copyright Chengdu Gua Pi Long Technology Co., Ltd. and distributed under the [PCL Limited Distribution License](https://github.com/Meloong-Git/PCL/blob/fd7b722346523d9574678a8a4a02928d31cd1e0c/LICENCE). The snapshot contains Chinese project-name information contributed by [MC Encyclopedia](https://www.mcmod.cn/).
